Qu Ningning, Senior Engineer and Vice Chief Designer of Project at the Marine Design & Research Institute of China, has played a key role in the research and design of multiple national key projects. Remarkably, Qu has been awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Qu is also the co-author of the National Treasure – Ship Popular Science Series and History of Chinese Ocean Science Research Vessel Research and Development, with the former recognized as an exemplary national popular science series.
