Auteur(s) du livre


Gorden Moyo is a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of the Free State, South Africa. He is also a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Lupane State University, Zimbabwe. At the same time Dr Moyo is the Head of an independent think tank- the Public Policy and Research Institute of Zimbabwe. He also serves as a member of the Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum Technical Group on Public Financial Management on a pro-bono basis. He received his PhD in African Leadership Development from the National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe. Moyo is a Chevening Scholar whose primary research interests are in global finance, international economic relations, Emerging Markets and Developing Economies, public leadership, and military commercialism among others. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and several book chapters.  His most recent book is titled Making Politics in Zimbabwe’s Second Republic: The Formative Project by Emmerson Mnangagwa (2023), which he co-edited with Prof Kirk Helliker. Moyo has served in the Government of Zimbabwe as a Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office; Minister of State Enterprises and Parastatals; and Member of Parliament of Zimbabwe (2009-2015).
