Sanjeev’s career spans the full value chain of upstream oil, marked by his commitment to excellence and technical acumen. He holds a Senior Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School and an Advanced Project Management certification from Stanford University (SCPM), alongside a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics, a Ph.D. from Kurukshetra University in collaboration with NGRI and Texas University, and an M.Tech. from India. Currently, Sanjeev serves as Custodian and Head of Reservoir Geoscience at PETRONAS and is Vice President and Board Member of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE).

His quest for knowledge led him to earn his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, West Bengal, India, solidifying his expertise in the field. With a panoramic view of the seismic technology landscape, Dr. Ravi is renowned for his mastery of the entire spectrum of seismic applications. From exploration to development, he has navigated the complexities of diverse geological regimes, encompassing clastic, carbonates, and deep-water terrains. Dr. Ravi's expertise extends to seismic reservoir characterization and management, where he wields his knowledge to unlock the hidden potential of hydrocarbon resources.
