Shanhua Zhu (b. 1971) is a professor and master's supervisor at the School of Foreign Languages, Southeast University. She holds M.A. in English Language and Literature and Ph. D. in Art. Her research interests include English education, translation, applied linguistics, art sociology and anthropology. She has been engaged in College English teaching and research for over two decades and won the First Prize for Outstanding Teaching at Southeast University and the Tao Xingzhi Teaching Quality Management Award for five times. As a key contributor, she has won one Second Prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, one Outstanding Prize and two First Prizes of Jiangsu Province Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, and one Second Prize of Jiangsu Province Postgraduate Education Reform Achievement Award. She has presided over and completed two Key Projects of Provincial Higher Education Reform and Postgraduate Education Reform, one Provincial Social Science Post-funding Project and several university-level teaching and research projects. More than 10 articles have been published in SSCI, EI, CSSCI and other journals. Five sets of 20 volumes National Planning Textbooks for Higher Education during the 11th and 12th Five-Year Plans and 13 volumes other textbooks have been edited or co-edited.

 
Shixiao Wang (b. 1990) holds a Ph.D. jointly supervised by Southeast University and Dartmouth College. He is a Specially Appointed Associate Research Fellow at the School of Arts, Nanjing University and has been selected for the Jiangsu Provincial "Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents" Program. His primary research interests include the history of ancient arts and crafts, art archaeology of the Silk Road, and design studies. He currently serves as the Principal Investigator for one National Social Science Fund Youth Project, one Key Project of Higher Education Reform in Jiangsu Province, and one Jiangsu Provincial Postgraduate Research and Innovation Project. His academic monograph (first author) received the Third Prize of the Jiangsu Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award and was selected for the Jiangsu "13th Five-Year Plan" Key Publications Project. He co-translated and published one title under the National Social Science Fund's Chinese Academic Translation Project. He has published over 20 papers in A&HCI and CSSCI-indexed journals and has participated in multiple major, key, and general projects funded by the National Social Science Fund.
