J. K. Rai received his B.E. degree in Electronics Engineering from Shri Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering and Technology, Nanded, India (1996), his M.Tech. degree in Electronics Engineering from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, India (1999), and his Doctoral degree from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Deemed University, Allahabad (2011). He has 26 years of teaching experience and is currently working as a Professor and Head in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, India. He has published more than 40 research papers in Scopus-indexed and SCI-indexed journals and international conferences. He has been granted one patent and has successfully guided three Ph.D. research scholars. His current research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and medical signal and image processing.
Peter Han Joo Chong is the Associate Head of School (Research) at the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. Between 2016 and 2021, he was the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at AUT. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 2000. His current research projects focus on machine learning techniques applied to software-defined vehicular networks. He has been developing deep reinforcement learning (DRL)-based resource management techniques for future 5G-V2X networks. His research interests are in the areas of wireless/mobile communication systems, including MANETs/VANETs, green radio networks and 5G-V2X networks, smart mobility, and smart health. He has published over 300 journal and conference papers, 2 edited books, 13 book chapters, and 4 U.S. patents in the relevant areas.
Sanja Dogramadzi is a Professor of Medical Robotics and Research Director at the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield, with over 20 years of research experience in surgical and physical assistance robots, safe human-robot interaction, and soft robotic structures. She has led numerous EPSRC, EC, NIHR, and Innovate UK projects as Principal Investigator. She is on the Executive Board of Sheffield Robotics. Prof. Dogramadzi established the Medical Robotics Group at Bristol Robotics Laboratory before moving to the University of Sheffield in 2020.
