Christopher Koenigsmann completed a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University under the mentorship of Professor Stanislaus S. Wong. He completed postdoctoral studies at Yale University in the Department of Chemistry and the Energy Sciences Institute with Professor Charles A. Schmuttenmaer.
