Xinyu Liu?is the Percy Edward Hart Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining the University of Toronto, he was an Associate Professor and the Canada Research Chair in Microfluidics and BioMEMS in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at McGill University. His research focuses on microfluidics, bioMEMS, and soft and micro robotics, with applications primarily in medicine and biology. He received the Canadian Rising Star in Global Health
