Professor Jihong Yu is from the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, Jilin University, China, and is the director of International Center of Future Science, Jilin University. She received her BS (1989), MS (1992), and PhD (1995) from Jilin University, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow first at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and then at Tohoku University in Japan during 1996-1998. She has been a full Professor in the Chemistry Department,
