Józef Spalek is currently professor of theoretical physics in the Marian Smoluchowski Institute of Physics, Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland). He is interested in theory of strongly correlated systems and, in particular, in high-temperature superconductivity and phase transitions in fermionic systems.
