Professor Zikry has extensive research experience related to the mechanics of alloys. He has authored numerous highly-cited archivial publications and has led numerous large-scale federal and private research programs. He has edited or co-edited 5 books, and is the Editor-in-Chief of the ASME Journal of Engineering Materials and Technology. He is on several editorial boards, is an Editor of Mechanics of Materials (Elsevier), and throughout his career has won numerous awards related to his research.
