Onofrio Scialdone studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Palermo. He obtained his PhD degree in Electrochemical Engineering in the Politecnico di Milano in 1999 and a Master in Economy at the Scuola Mattei of ENI (2000). He is Professor of Industrial Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Palermo and he leads the research activities on electrochemistry of the “Laboratory of Chemical and Electrochemical Technologies? at the same University. His main research interests are in electrochemical reaction engineering, with particular emphasis on synthesis of fine chemicals, environmental protection and electrical energy generation
