Dr. Silviu Livescu is the chief technology officer and cofounder of Bedrock Energy, focusing on massive decarbonization of large buildings using geothermal heating and cooling, and an editor-in-chief of Elsevier’s Geoenergy Science andEngineering. Previously, he was a professor in the Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Austin, United States, the 2020–2023 Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) technical director for data science and engineering analytics, and the chief scientist of pressure pumping at Baker Hughes.
