Takeru Shibayama started his carrier as a researcher at TU Wien in 2011 and now is a Senior Scientist at the Research Center of Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering. He has been working on various research in the field of public transport, sustainable urban transport planning, and deployment of digital technologies in passenger transport. His most recent research topics include nationwide mobility service guarantee, COVID-19 and commuting, and scientific supervision of a full translation of the EU’s SUMP guideline into Japanese. He is co-chairing WCTRS SIG G2 with Günter Emberger.
