Valerie Freeman joined the staff at Johnson & Wales University in August 2008 and is the liaison for the College of Business. Valerie has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
She participates in teaching information literacy classes, assists in cataloging, manages student workers, and coordinates service desks. She is a member of the American Library
